Adria Aviva Lite shows the world that you can get a serious caravan for less than 400,000

In this article, we have translated a user review from the American website Autoevolution.
Every once in a while I come across a motorhome that defies all known notions of what is possible, and this time such a vehicle has been born in Europe, by none other than Adria Mobil. Ladies and gentlemen, couples of all ages, before us is the Aviva Lite, one of the latest additions to the ever-growing line of motorhomes from Adria, a brand that has been in the business since 1965.
As for why I decided to bring the Aviva Lite to light, it's because this thing shatters the notion that a well-equipped, high-performance motorhome has to cost tens of thousands of dollars (hundreds of thousands of crowns). Imagine that these caravan babies start at around $17k (less than 400,000 kroner at the current exchange rate), and that alone is reason enough to take a closer look at the Aviva Lite.
Need some more incentive to read on? How about the fact that the standard unit comes with an indoor kitchen, a full bathroom, and even sleeping space for up to four passengers? Honestly, what more could we possibly need?
The unit is 5.5m long and 2.1m wide, and while that may seem big, its MRO (the weight at which the unit leaves the factory) is between 660kg and 710kg, which is pretty darn good for a unit that can seat four people and offer the essentials. It can also be loaded up to a maximum weight of 1,000kg, so you have 290kg at your disposal, which I think is more than enough for a proper long weekend. Did I mention there's up to 29mm of insulation in the shell?
The exterior of the Lite isn't the most feature-packed, so don't expect countless storage cubbies all over the shell. Instead, Adria has paid special attention to the interior, so let's take a look inside this unit and get properly snuggled in.
As you enter the Lite, there's a large dining area in the front that can be folded out into a bed at night. Here we also find all the storage we would need for the essentials on the go. There are compartments under the seats, and there are also fabric baskets made from recycled materials overhead.
Towards the rear of the model is the kitchen block and along the left side is the bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. This space is beautifully hidden behind a cabinet so it also doesn't protrude into the space. Finally, the rear of the unit is reserved for two bunk beds. But if you're traveling with two or alone, you can use this space for sports equipment, it's up to you.
The electrical setup of the camper includes LEDs, electrical outlets, and pre-installation for the charger/inverter and battery box. The caravan can hold 40 litres of fresh water.
