Adria embarks on the development of more sustainable materials
Aware that environmental protection is one of the company's most important responsibilities, Adria Mobil has created a multidisciplinary team to work on all aspects of its sustainability strategy. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and compliance with environmental standards. It strives for excellence in its environmental management system, which is ISO 14001 certified, and is committed to sustainable development and to preventing and reducing environmental impacts.
Circi project
Did you know that for all Twin and Compact Max motorhomes produced for 2024-2025, Adria Mobil has managed to create new cup holders from waste recycled in its own production facility?
EPP project
Adria is now making cabinets from expanded polypropylene. EPP is the material of the future - it is a lightweight, highly durable recyclable material that is also reusable. It can be shaped, yet is mechanically strong. In addition, it is characterised by high thermal and acoustic insulation. EPP is an interesting material for potentially wider use in Adria motorhomes. Meanwhile, it is now appearing in the living area of the new generation of Twin cars, where it provides additional storage space in addition to its mechanical properties.
Project Ceplafib
In July 2018, Adria Mobil joined a three-year European sustainability project aimed at converting waste plastics and newspapers into new high-tech products for the automotive, packaging and construction industries. The CEPLAFIB project was partly co-funded by the European Commission under the LIFE programme and involved six partners from four European countries, namely TECOS Technology Center and Adria Mobil, and Omaplast from Slovenia, Aitiip Center from Spain, Ecopulp from Finland and ITB Institute from Poland.
