Coral XL: Built for Dakar, designed for you

Not everything essential is visible. One of the most important parts of a successful race of the magnitude of the famous Dakar Rally is areliable and comfortable support vehicle, which for the KTM Red Bull Adria Coral XL team is. This year's 45th edition of the Dakar Rally took place in Saudi Arabia, where sand dunes were the main challenge for the riders. The riders had to cover almost 5,000 km of difficult terrain in 14 stages. It was an incredibly close race, with only 44 seconds separating the top two riders, KTM's Kevin Benavides and Toby Price .

The 2023 Dakar Rally made history when the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team took the top two places in the motorcycle category. This victory marks KTM's 19th victory in this prestigious event, and the eleventh year in a row that Adria has provided the team with support vehicles. The Adria Coral XL motorhome also played a key role in the success, providing the team with a comfortable base and refuge from the harsh conditions of the rally.

The Coral XL is a top-of-the-range motorhome. It offers a spacious interior with a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living area. One of the car's key features is its off-road capabilities - for example, it has a high chassis, which helps avoid getting stuck in sand dunes.

Adria has been the official partner and motorhome supplier to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team for 11 years, and this year Adria also supported the rider of KTM's subsidiary brand KTM GasGas, Daniel Sanders. The Adria Dakar fleet consists of Sonic, Matrix and Coral XL motorhomes with a few modifications for rallying. The RVs provide overnight accommodation for the competitors and their team on a daily basis during the race. Particularly popular with the KTM team is the Coral XL motorhome, with its spacious interior and fixed overhead bunk in the front and large bed in the rear.

The Coral XL provides the team with much-needed rest and comfort during the gruelling competition. The car serves not only as a place to rest, but also to eat and plan strategy for the next stage of the rally. The team's mechanics also use the motorhome as a workspace to carry out essential motorcycle repairs.

KTM team boss Norbert Stadblauer remarked at the race finale: ''It was an incredible Dakar, one of the toughest and tightest in history. Toby and Kevin were separated by just 12 seconds going into the final stage and luckily both riders' performances ensured us a 1-2 finish. We were all excited to take the win. Unbelievable. We would like to thank all our partners once again for supporting KTM in the Dakar. We are looking forward to the Dakar 2024!.
