Twin Sports: innovative pop-top roof
Did you know that the roof on Twin Sports models was actually developed in collaboration with ELAN, a well-known manufacturer of skis, snowboards, sailboats and motor yachts? The development of the roof is a story of innovation and partnership between Adria and Elan, which, like Adria, is based in Slovenia. The collaboration started with a simple brief: " We need to add two more sleeping places to the motorhome", and ended up with the best pop-top roof on the motorhome market today.
The Adria and ELAN connection
Elan has the know-how in composites and Adria the experience in caravanning. Together, we were able to provide such efficient prototyping that after only 5 months of development , the first working prototype roof was created. After that, everything focused on design and details from the style of the tent, the mosquito net to the mechanism of closing the roof and ensuring a comfortable sleeping experience.
The Pop-Top Roof
The nicely styled roof features aerodynamic integration into the van body. It integrates with the exclusive SunRoof panoramic window as well as optional equipment such as air conditioning, 140 W flexi solar panels, midiheki or awning.
The design and construction ensure that it is completely safe to use when open or closed. The roof is equipped with two separate locking mechanisms .
The shorter 600 models use acompact retractable lid and an easy-to-use scissor mechanism with perfect closing.
The longer 640 models feature an ingenious, easy-to-use swivel mechanism with extended side arms for perfect closure and integration with the van roof when the roof is not in use, and wind stability when in use.

Sleeping space
The exclusive Adria design sleeping area with pop-up roof provides additional sleeping space and great comfort. The 120x200 cm sleeping area features a comfortable mattress, useful storage space, USB ports and reading lights. The tent is made from acrylic-based materials that provide insulation, waterproofing and breathability. It also features a fixed mosquito net, the front screen of which can be opened independently.
Roof accessories
You can also buy an insulated tarpaulin to go with the roof, which offers maximum protection for colder days and can be easily fitted with zippers. A cosy heated mattress with 2 independently adjustable zones can also be purchased, each zone is equipped with a temperature sensor and occupancy sensors. In addition, there is a control button with LED indicators for each half of the bed .
