The Altea and the Hyundai Ioniq 9 — a combination that makes sense

During the first official test drives of the Ioniq 9 in the High Tatras, we were driving an Adria Altea 552 PK P3 in the 60Y edition. A lightweight motorhome, an EV with a towing capacity of 2,500 kg and a real-world range of 500 km.

During the first official drives Hyundai Ioniq 9 in the High Tatras, we were there too. Hyundai borrowed from us through its marketing agency Adria Altea 552 PK P3to show that a modern electric car gets along with a caravan better than one might think.

The Ioniq 9 has confirmed in tests that it is a comfortable and exceptionally spacious electric SUV with a real range of around 500 km and reasonable efficiency even in mountainous conditions. Altea in such a combination got a unique chance to show its strengths.

Why Altea fits EV

  • Low weight — minimal resistance for the electric car
  • Thought-out aerodynamics — less consumption
  • Balanced load distribution — stable driving
  • The car recalculates range immediately after connection
  • Calm driving even on long climbs — tested in the Tatras

Hyundai states that the Ioniq 9 can tow up to 2,500 kg — the light Altea 552 PK P3 is an effortless partner for it.

Caravaning and electromobility are no longer two incompatible worlds. And we are glad that it was exactly Adria Altea able to be the trailer that helped demonstrate this.
