He started at nine years old on the Vltava River in Prague, gradually earning bronze at the Junior European Championships, silver at the 2012 London Olympic Games and two world championship titles (2013 in classic slalom and 2017 in kayak cross). In April 2024, he ended his competitive career — but that doesn't mean he slowed down. He just swapped the training plan for family trips, sports challenges, and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
