A short Saxon circuit begins in porcelain-making Meissen, continues to Moritzburg Palace and ends in cultural Leipzig. Colditz and Rochlitz castles fit naturally between them without long driving days.

🛂 Tolls and vignettes

Germany has no nationwide motorway vignette for private motorhomes. A motorhome used solely for private travel is not treated as goods transport, but check city low-emission zones before travelling.

⛺ Campsites and stopovers

Suggested bases: Caravanplatz am Elbkai v Míšni, KNAUS Campingpark Leipzig. Check the operating season, vehicle limits and availability directly with each operator before arrival.

🌙 Overnight parking
