Practical motorhome information
An electronic rovinieta is required on Romania’s national road network. The category and price vary by vehicle type and, for heavier vehicles, by weight and axle count.
Suggested bases: Camping Ananas u Sibiu, Camping Două Lumi u Sighișoary, Vampire Camping u Branu. Check the operating season, vehicle limits and availability directly with each operator before arrival.
Use campsites or explicitly permitted motorhome stopovers for overnight stays. A daytime parking space at an attraction is not automatically an overnight site.
Refill fresh water and empty waste water only at designated campsite or service points. Confirm current facilities when booking.
